Description

What was Cimicifuga is now called Actaea, the botanists have their reasons why and we have to live with it. In a couple of years from now they will probably go back to the old name.
Never the less it is a great garden plant, good dark, nearly black foliage set off the long white spikes of flowers in Autumn. Combine with Ferns, Tiarella, Brunnera, Persicaria amplexicaule and Astrantia.
