Description

Aster macrophyllus ex. Vermont is a eastern North American rhizomatous species spreading at a slow forming ground covering colonies of large, heart-shaped leaves. In late summer branching stems, carrying a profusion of light-blue daisy flowers. Flower heads are popular with bees and butterflies. Can grow in sun and part shade.
