Compact evergreen grass from the Pyrenees and Southwestern Europe. Slowly spreads to form neat clumps. In its native rage it forms unusual ribbons on the stony landscape as it shaped by harsh winds. Airy nodding summer flowers. Sunny spots in free-draining soil including poor soil.
