An unusual perennial plant from Chile, related to Salvia, with beautifully fragrant foliage and deep carmine red flowers appear from July into late autumn. Lepechinia salviae enjoys full sun and a well-drained humus rich soil. Attracted by bees and butterflies. Evergreen in warmer climates.
