Excellent slow growing woodland ground cover with glossy evergreen round leaves, best under deciduous shrubs and trees. Flowers are shaped like little pipes and are born under the foliage early Spring. Likes water-retentive soil with a high content of leaf mould. Plant in combination with ferns and Polygonatum for example.
