Description
The Oriental poppy is an old cottage garden favourite which will survive decades of neglect, thanks to it’s deep fleshy root system. It pushes up first thing in Spring and will disappear shortly after flowering, so plant with other perennials that will cover the gap in the border. e.g Sanquisorba, Asters, Helianthus. Once planted do not move as it will always reappear in the same spot from every snip of a missed root.
