Sanguisorba are perennials with attractive, pinnate leaves and branched stems bearing terminal spikes of small fluffy bottlebrush-like flowers. Good in flower borders with ornamental grasses or in a prairie planting. Happiest in a sunny border where the soil stays moist.
Clumps of fine foliage, tall branched stems arise bearing button like dark red flowers.
