Uvularia perfoliata

Description

Merrybells are a delight full woodlanders with pendent yellow elongated flowers in mid spring, They are easy to grow and will naturalise freely in good humus rich woodland soil. Look well with Ophalodes , Anemone nemorosa and Corydalis
As the name would suggest, U. perfoliata has leaves perforated by the stem, flowers are large and bright yellow.
