Hosta Yellow River

Description

Great foliage plants, very architectural, relatively disease free, easy to grow, long lived, well behaved and unfortunately slugs and snails like them to. Growing them in pots is a solution.
The other is that we have to manage our gardens more ecologically, giving predators like frogs and hedgehogs a healthy environment to live in. Reasonably large Hosta, showy but not too flash, with deep green leaves edged in yellow. Cool, moist soil with protection from midday sun.
