Christella normalis

Description

An attractive slowly spreading deciduous fern from the Southeastern United States. Large pale green fronds, sometimes touched with bronze, and pleasingly divided mature to dark green. Happy in typical fern conditions of moisture retentive soils and shade but tolerant of dry shade once established and of sunnier sites if not too dry. Useful as a ground cover in a transitional area between sun and shade.
