This oreganum is a superb ornamental for a sunny spot, producing a haze of pale purple red pink flowers through Summer, very good with Sedum telephiums or Coreopsis Mooonbeam. Neat compact growth habit.
Like most herbs they enjoy full sun and poor stoney soil but rich in minerals.
Oregano is very popular in nearly all Mediterranean dishes.
