Description

The switch grasses are among the finest late-season grasses, requiring heat to get moving but getting better and better from mid- to late summer and still looking good right through winter. Panicum Emerald Chief has upright with green foliage and excellent autumn colour. Frothy heads of many tiny flowers open in late summer in silver-pink and the whole plant will look good into spring when you cut it back.
