Unusual shruby perennial with clouds of bright blue guppy shaped flowers beginning in mid-October and continuing usually until the first frost. Part shade in deep rich moisture retentive soil. Fabulous late season perennial. Noshoku is a compact selection from Japan with shorter and deeper blue-violet flowers.
