KILLINEY GARDEN

This large suburban garden was re-designed for a retired couple that were looking forward to devoting themselves to the challenges of gardening. We decided to create a garden with multiple habitats, from wet to dry, sunny to shade, rockery to lush border to encourage a great diversity of plant species to grow happily together. The large sloping front lawn was terraced in concentric circles around a raised circular pond. Dry stone walls, gravel areas, a reed bed, courtyard garden and woodland all are now homes to so many species of plants and have inspired the owners to become lively plant collectors.
