The loveliest little woodland plant you could imagine; bright lilac blue starry flowers push up trough the dark woodland soil to announce spring, humus soil with lime. H. transsilvanica is more robust than H. nobilis, spreading by creeping rhizomes, and has larger leaves and flowers.
