Description
Red hot pokers are clump-forming perennials with grassy to sword-shaped, often evergreen foliage. They are grown mainly for their tall flowers stems that are topped with bottle-brush-shaped heads of orange, yellow, red, cream and green flowers.
K. caulescens has a orange-yellow flower and attractive very structural blue-green foliage. Likes to grow over a wall or rocks and can be a very good pot subject.
