Description
Red hot pokers are clump-forming perennials with grassy to sword-shaped, often evergreen foliage. They are grown mainly for their tall flowers stems that are topped with bottle-brush-shaped heads of orange, yellow, red, cream and green flowers.
A cooler kind of red hot poker with pale yellow flowers opening from green buds in summer. Evergreen strappy foliage. Best in full sun in fertile well-drained soil.
