Description

Lovage will grow to a tall upright clump forming perennial with broad aromatic leaves , bearing numerous umbels of yellow flowers. It grows best in moist water retentive rich soil. Cut back if too large in Summer.
Fresh young leaves are very tasty on bread and butter, or crushed into butter, in fresh cheese or mixed with lettuce, but best known is stews and soups.
