Omphalodes are great for semi shaded spots and will produce clouds of starry blue forget – me – not flowers all Spring. Look good in drifts with Hellebores and Lathyrus vernus.
Omphalodes nitida is more loose in habit whit spays of tiny blue flowers and will flower later and longer than the other Omphalodes. I like to complement it with Chrysogonum virginiana.
