Description

Switch grass, a prairie grass from North America, is a typical “warm season grass”. It starts to grow when the soil warms up and flowers from mid summer. Stiff upright growth habit, usually very good autumn colours and a fine delicate cloud-like inflorescence.
A good upright switch grass with broad blue-green leaf blades turning purples and oranges in autumn. Delicate frothy flowers in early autumn.
